![]() The property was considerably more modest than either of their other two Malibu homes, but speculation was that the pair purchased it as an investment property. The next year, the couple snapped up a three-bedroom, one-bathroom cottage on Malibu’s Point Dume for $3.9 million. They quietly sold the property for $8 million in 2020. The deal happened off-market and through a trust, so not much is known about the ranch-style house except that it sits on approximately one acre and features gardens and a riding ring. At the time, there were conflicting reports about how much the couple paid for the property, but suffice it to say that they put down around $7 million for the pad. The same year they sold their Hawaii estate, Roberts and Moder added to their Malibu holdings with the purchase of a three-bedroom and two-bathroom home right across the street from their main Malibu compound. ![]() ![]() They ultimately sold it for $16.2 million in 2016. The couple listed the property for $29.85 million in 2015, but after failing to secure a buyer, they lowered the asking price substantially to $19.5 million. Images from inside the home reveal wood-beamed ceilings and large picture windows, with plenty of covered outdoor areas for enjoying the ocean breeze. The five-bedroom main house measured about 3,800 square feet and was originally built in the 1940s, with views of both the sea and the mountains. The two-acre property was historically part of a sugar plantation. ![]() Roberts and Moder next set their sights on Hawaii, purchasing a $13-million parcel of land offering more than 200 feet of beach along Kauai’s Hanalei Bay. It sold for $5.35 million that same year. The couple held onto the Greenwich Village home for about five years before listing it for $4.5 million in 2015. Though details of the unit are scant, what is known is that it features a spacious terrace with stunning views of the city and a wood-burning fireplace in the living room. The family uses this spot as their primary home.Ī few years later, the couple established roots on the East Coast with the purchase of a three-bedroom, three-bathroom, $3.845-million penthouse in NYC’s Greenwich Village neighborhood. There are also reportedly numerous solar panels that help to power the eco-friendly home and a secluded beach just a short walk away. Aerial photos of the home show multiple buildings connected by a brick-laid motor court, an inner courtyard, and wide grassy lawns, with plenty of decks and shaded outdoor spaces. Their first impressive compound in the seaside city is perched atop a bluff overlooking the Pacific, and it cost the newlyweds $9.5 million. ![]() Roberts and Moder purchased their first of several Malibu properties a year after their wedding. And fun fact: Roberts bought the home from none other than former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld. The couple and their three kids often spend time in the Southwest, and locals apparently bump into Roberts at the grocery store and Target rather frequently. Roberts’s Taos ranch is probably best known as the spot where she and Moder got married on July 4, 2002. Though it is unclear how much she paid for the land back in the day, Forbes reported that the ranch was worth about $2.5 million in 2008, meaning it is likely worth many times that now. The Erin Brockovich actor bought the 32-acre property, located near the community of Arroyo Seco, sometime in the ’90s and has maintained it as a second home ever since. One of Roberts’s most well-known homes is her sprawling ranch in Taos, New Mexico. ![]()

I often found that in noisier outdoor environments – an ice rink, for example – the microphones would struggle to pick up my voice. That is, if the microphones can hear you. Like the Hero 5 Black, you can utter commands such as “GoPro take a photo” or “GoPro start recording”, and the camera will obey accordingly. The microphones are also used for the Hero 5 Session’s voice-triggered actions. Since there’s no external housing to obstruct the microphones, this makes for far better sound recording, and the Hero 5 Session now supports more advanced wind noise reduction too. The camera can dynamically switch between the two based on external conditions, such as windnoise. Once again, there are dual microphones – one on the front and one on the back. This remains with the Hero 5 Session it will happily go to 10m without a modicum of fuss. The main benefit of the original Session was its waterproofing, without the need for external housing – which has since been copied by the Hero 5 Black. This won’t be something you’ll notice unless you put the two cameras next to one another, however – and even then it’s barely noticeable. While not offering all of the bells and whistles of Streamlabs, OBS instead excels in its customizability. ![]() Premium features like premade overlays, ability to easily create and sell branded merchandise, and access to a massive app store, Streamlabs has pretty much all of the features that you could ever want. While costing more money and CPU performance, Streamlabs comes equipped with all of the features necessary for users to start streaming almost immediately. When it comes down to it, Streamlabs is the best all-in-one package while OBS is the best for those looking for the most freedom and customization. This has both its pros and cons: users will have to do more work on their own part to either create overlays from scratch or purchase them from a third party, but once they are purchased they will be theirs forever – something that can’t be said about Streamlabs Ultra’s overlays.įor instance, Hexeum has a large selection of professionally made stream overlay packages, and once they are purchased they will be yours to use forever. One of Streamlabs’ premium features is allowing users access to a large library of professionally made overlays, alerts, emotes, and designs Streamlabs regularly adds new overlays which is fantastic, however one downside is that a large amount of these overlays are all tied to Streamlabs Ultra, which is a subscription service. If you’re worried about overstressing your system’s processor or simply just want to use a streaming software that’s more minimalistic with fewer bells and whistles, then OBS is definitely the better option.Īnother big difference between OBS and Streamlabs is how users can use and access overlays. Whereas Streamlabs’ features all function within the application itself, OBS’s software itself doesn’t house any of the plugins which means the program itself has relatively low CPU usage. While users who want to take full advantage of OBS will need to utilize third party plug-ins which can take a bit of additional fenangling in order to properly setup, the positive side of this is the lower performance hit on one’s computer. OBS has fewer features built into it, but this can be seen as both a drawback and a benefit. It’s again worth noting that many of Streamlabs’ additional features are locked behind a paywall, but paying for their subscription isn’t fully necessary in order to enjoy the software’s various quality-of-life improvements that it has over OBS. If you happen to own a beefy rig and money isn’t an issue, then we would probably recommend using Streamlabs.īut if you happen to own a beefy rig and money isn’t an issue, then we would recommend using Streamlabs.
